2004년, 런던 Chelsea Academy의 아틀리에에서 한 사람이 이끼를 장식이 아닌 예술의 재료로 처음 바라보았습니다. 그 손끝에서 시작된 물음이, 22년 동안 하나의 메종이 되었습니다.
모스월아트는 단 한 명의 크리에이티브 디렉터 Esther의 시선 아래 움직입니다. 이끼 한 종 한 종의 결, 빛을 받았을 때의 그림자, 공간의 호흡 — 모든 작품은 Esther의 큐레이션 위에서 태어나, 장인의 손끝에서 완성됩니다.
"Nature, Indoors — 자연을 실내로." 이 단 하나의 원칙 아래, 모스월아트는 판매를 위한 제품이 아닌 공간과 함께 나이 드는 하나의 작품을 지어갑니다.
In 2004, at an atelier in Chelsea Academy, London, one designer first looked at moss not as decoration, but as a material for art. That single gesture became, over twenty-two years, a maison.
Mosswall Art moves under the eye of a single Creative Director, Esther. Every strand of moss, every play of shadow in its light, every breath of the room it will live in — each piece begins on her curation and is completed by the hand of the atelier.
"Nature, Indoors." Under this one principle, Mosswall Art does not make products to be sold. It makes works that grow old with the space that holds them.
